Welcome Gimpyfish62 to TourneyPlay.net!
TourneyPlay.net has added Gimpyfish62 to the staff and organization.
Gimpyfish will be proving comment, commentary and interviews for TourneyPlay.net events.
We will record key matches and then do play by play announcing for them, broadcasting them over the internet. We will also have live and taped interviews with top players to show throughout the broadcast.

This addition to the TourneyPlay.net organization is a huge win for the Smash Community, as Gimpyfish is well known and his insights into the game are highly respected through out the community. His contribution will be key to the success of TourneyPlay.net.

Est. Prize Pool for June 2009 Event Updated
With the expectation of 150+ players for the June 6th and 7th 2009 event, I am pleased to announce that the expected prize pool for that event will be over $5000. How that breaks down per tournament is still in the works.
TourneyPlay.net's goal is to hand out over $10,000 in prizes in 2009. With the Feb event looking to be about $2000 and June about $5000 we will easily break that goal, with the May Melee and Oct Brawl/Melee events still in the works.
